Vaughn's extensive thirty year career in the South Florida construction industry makes him well qualified to help you avoid home-building pitfalls. He's an active member of the Home Builders Association, a charter member of the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, an Honored Member of Who's Who and he has been a frequent speaker before both Realtors and Contractors. He also maintains an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.
The Palm Beach Post quoted Vaughn as saying "When you finish a really nice home for people, and they appreciate it, it gives you a lot of gratification." This statement sums up Vaughn's building philosophy and motivation. He simply does whatever it takes to make sure every client enjoys living in the home of their dreams. He's now extending that dedication to you.
Nova Builders, Inc was established by Vaughn in 1981. In the next ten years he built hundreds of homes, ranging in price from $110,000 to $2,000,000, in Palm Beach Polo, Ibis Golf & Country Club, Banyan Lakes and throughout Wellington. Business was good, people were happy, and the experience was invaluable. But as a result, he learned a life-changing lesson:
Bigger is not better... personal gratification requires personal involvement.
Slowly but surely, with each new project, Vaughn developed a more personal relationship with the new homeowners. He gave them his home and cellular phone numbers and encouraged them to call whenever they wished... day or night, weekends included. Meetings at odd times for the convenience of Nova clients became common place. Then, when Maria, his most valued employee, announced in 1991 that she was moving out of the area, Vaughn decided to close the Greenacres office and try working out of his home office.
The "kinder, gentler, more personal" Nova Builders that has evolved suits Vaughn perfectly. And the select clients for whom Vaughn builds their custom dream home are eternally grateful that a concerned friend is there to help them with one of the most important endeavors in their lifetime.
